(TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART­I SECTION I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE …..   PUBLIC NOTICE  NO. 61  (RE­2007)/2004­2009 NEW DELHI, THE 8th OCTOBER, 2007                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               S.O.(E) – In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 2.1, 2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­2009,  the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby allocates a total quantity of 10,309 MTs of Raw Sugar out of free sale portion of 2007­2008 season’s production for export to EU for the year 2007­2008 (October, 2007 to September, 2008) as under :­   (i)       10,309 MTs of Raw Sugar to EU   2.             This refers to HS Code No.1701 00 00 in the Schedule 2 of ITC(HS)  Classification of Export & Import Items, 2004­2009 under which M/s. Indian Sugar Exim Corporation Ltd, New Delhi is the designated agency for export of sugar to EU under preferential quota.
