Amendments in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1.

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTEE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION 1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE No. 88   (RE­2006)/2004­09   NEW DELHI:       5th  March,   2007               In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­09, the   Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments Handbook of Procedure, (Volume­I):­   (1)   Fourth sub­para of Para 3.12 is amended to read as follows,   “Software exporters shall register themselves with Electronic and Software Export Promotion Council. Exporters of 13 specific services as listed in Sl No. 34 of Appendix­2 of Handbook of Procedure (Volume ­I) are required to register themselves with the    Services Export Promotion Council. Other service exporters shall register themselves with Federation of Indian Exporters Organisation.”   (2)    Sixth sub­para of Para 3.12 is deleted.   (3)   The following is added in the list of Export Promotion Councils/ Commodity Board under   Appendix­2 of the Hand Book of Procedure: ­                   Sl no. 34 “Services Export Promotion Council         705, Bhikaji Cama Bhawan,  Bhikaji Cama Place,  New Delhi­110066  Tel:011­26167042,26165805 Services Exports covered (i)  Health Care Services including services by nurses, physiotherapist and paramedical personnel (ii)    Educational Services
