(TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART­I SECTION I)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE …..   PUBLIC NOTICE  NO.    86    (RE­2005)/2004­2009 NEW DELHI, THE  27th      JANUARY, 2006           S.O.(E) – In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraphs 2.1, 2.4 and 2.29 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004­2009,  the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby  amends the quantity of sugar allocated for export to USA vide Public Notice No 76 dated   26.12.2005 , as follows:­ .   An additional quantity of 2,050 MTs of Raw Sugar out of free sale portion of 2005­2006 season’s production for export to USA  for the period from October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006  stands  allocated. This enhances the preferential Raw Cane Sugar Tariff Rate Quota from 9,050 MTs  to  11,100 MTs  for export to USA .       2.                  This issues in Public Interest.     (K.T.Chacko) Director General of Foreign Trade and Ex officio Additional Secretary to the Government of India                 (Issued from F.No.01/91/180/946/AM06/PC­III) : 2 :    F.No.01/91/180/946/AM06/PC­III/
