TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I,  SECTION­1)     GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE No.  60 /2004­09 NEW DELHI, Dated:  14th MARCH, 2005      Subject:  Procedure for import of certain items under the India­Nepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002­amendment therein.             In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade  Policy 2004­09, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Public Notice No. 9/2002­07 dated 30.04.2002 prescribing the procedure for import of certain items under the Indo­Nepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002:   1.       Attention is invited to Public Notice No.12/2004­09 dated 4.10.2004 whereby the annual quota of 100,000MTs of Vegetable Fats (Vanaspati) for the  financial year 2004­2005 from Nepal was permitted for import from 6.12.2004 to 5.3.2005. It has now been decided to extend the validity period for TRQ vanaspati imports from Nepal into India in respect of the current financial year 2004­05 upto 5.6.2005.   This issues in the Public interest.   Sd/­ (K.T. CHACKO) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE  EX­OFFICIO ADDL. SECRETARY TO THE GOVT. OF INDIA   Copy to all concerned,
