In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy 200409, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Public Notice No. 9/200207 dated 30.04.2002 prescribing the procedure for import of certain items under the IndoNepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002: 1. Attention is invited to Public Notice No.12/200409 dated 4.10.2004 whereby the annual quota of 100,000MTs of Vegetable Fats (Vanaspati) for the financial year 20042005 from Nepal was permitted for import from 6.12.2004 to 5.3.2005. It has now been decided to extend the validity period for TRQ vanaspati imports from Nepal into India in respect of the current financial year 200405 upto 5.6.2005.
