In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 200207, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, PartII Section 3, Sub Section (ii) vide S.O. No. 349 E dated 31.03.2002, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby make the following corrections in Public Notice No. 68/200207 dated 23.6.2004 prescribing the procedure for import of certain items under the IndoNepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002: Point No. 2 of Public Notice No. 68 dated 23.6.2004 shall be corrected to read as under: “State Trading Corporation (STC) shall be the sole agency to make imports of vegetable fats (Vanaspati) upto the indicated quantity on annual quota basis. Other conditions of the Public Notice No. 9/200207 dated 30.04.2002 shall remain unchanged.” This issues in the Public interest.
