TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PARTI, SECTION1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE PUBLIC NOTICE NO.49 (RE2003)/200207 NEW DELHI, Dated: 16 .02.2004 Subject: Procedure for import of certain items under the IndiaNepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2003amendment therein. In exercise of powers conferred under Paragraph 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy 200207, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, PartII Section 3, Sub Section (ii) vide S.O. No. 349 E dated 31.03.2002, as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby notifies the following amendments in Public Notice No. 9/200207 dated 30.04.2002 prescribing the procedure for import of certain items under the IndoNepal Treaty of Trade signed on 2.3.2002: 1. The following sub Para 1A shall be added: “However the time period for import of Vegetable fats (Vanaspati) for the year 200304 shall be extended up to 05.06.2004 and the unutilized quota shall not lapse till this date.” This issues in the Public interest.
