Amendment in DEPB rates

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART –1, SECTION­1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY   ____PUBLIC NOTICE NO.55    (RE­01)/ 1997­2002 NEW DELHI, the  18th December,  2001   In exercise of  powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997­2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part­II Section 3, Sub section (ii) vide S.O. No.283(E) dated 31.03.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in Handbook (Vol 1).(RE­01), 1997­2002.     1)       The following amendments/ corrections shall be made in Appendix 28 A which pertains to the DEPB rate list   (i)      Product Group – Engineering (Product Code No 61) (a)     The following entries are amended as under:   S. No Export Product DEPB Rate Value  Cap  for  DEPB entitlement 407 (a)Forged Steel ball made of mild steel/ non alloy steel (b) Forged Steel ball made of alloy steel (c) Forged Steel ball made of Stainless steel 20.00 “ “ (a) Rs 80/ kg (b)Rs 100/ kg (c)Rs 175/ kg 480 Fabricated Steel Hardware/ Structure/ Articles not elsewhere specified made out of MS HR Plates/ Sheets/ Coils/ Strips 9.00       (b)     The following entries are added as under:   S.No Export Product DEPB Rate Value  Cap  for  DEPB entitlement 619 PCB Routers 6.00     (ii)     Product Group – Chemicals (Product Code No 62)   (a)     The following entry is amended as under:   S.No Export Product DEPB Rate Value  Cap  for  DEPB entitlement 1022 Reactive Black BA/ TA (Chromazol Black BA/ TA) 8.00         (iii)   Product Group – Electronics (Product Code No 83)
