TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 38 (RE­2001)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI:1st October, 2001              In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment to the Public Notice No. 14(PN)/97­2002 dated 06.06.1997, namely:   “1.  The following shall be added at the end of paragraph 3 of the aforementioned public notice: ‘The authorization to make future imports shall be given by the Directorate of Vanaspati, Vegetable Oils and Fats on annual basis.’                                   This issues in public interest.”      (N.L. LAKHANPAL) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE   Copy to all concerned, By order  etc.   (O.P.Hisaria) Dy. Director General of Foreign Trade
