( TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART I SECTION I)     GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE  & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   Public Notice No.  26 (RE­2001)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI,   Dated  the  3rd July, 2001.                   Attention is invited to the entry at Code No.1001(a)  in Table B of Schedule 2  and Sr.No.12(i) of Appendix­1 to Schedule 2 in the book titled “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997­2002”   (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998 ) and as amended from time to time  specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.   2.             In exercise of the powers conferred under Para 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002 (incorporating amendments made upto 31st March,2001) and as amended from time to time, the Director General of Foreign Trade has decided to make following amendment in Public Notice No.17(RE­2001)/1997­2002 dt. 7th June,2001:­   The para 2 (ii) of the above Public Notice may be amended to read as follows:­   “ The last date of shipment/export of wheat in respect of above ceiling shall be extended upto 31st August,2001.”   3.             This issues in Public interest.   (N.L.Lakhanpal) Director General of Foreign Trade Copy to all concerned, by order etc.     (A.K.Srivastava) Dy.Director General of Foreign Trade For Director General of Foreign Trade
