Issue of RCAC’s to sugar mills/ exporters of sugar

( TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART­I SECTION )   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT  OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO.  8 ( RE­2001)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI, THE 20th APRIL, 2001.             Attention is invited to the entry  at Code No. 1701 of Table ‘ B’ of Schedule 2 and Sr. No. 25 of Schedule 2 Appendix­1 of the book titled  “ ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items, 1997­2002” ( incorporating amendments made upto 31.8.1998 ) and as amended from time to time specifying the terms and conditions  for export items indicated therein.   2.                     In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002 (  incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2001 ) and as amended from time to time , the Director General  of Foreign Trade  has decided that  the RCACs may be issued to the Sugar mills/exporters of sugar by Agricultural and Processed Food  Products Export Development Authority on production of firm and valid contract orders until the quantitative ceiling is notified.   3.                     This issues in Public interest.
