Amendment in Public Notice No.56 dt.16.2.2001

( TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART I SECTION I )   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO.  62( RE­2000 ) / 1997­2002 NEW DELHI , THE   14th  March, 2001.                   Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1001(a)  in  Table B of Schedule 2     and Sr. No. 12(i)  of Appendix –1 to Schedule 2 in the  book titled  “ ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import  Items, 1997­2002 ” (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) and  as amended from time to time  specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.   In exercise of the powers conferred under Para 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997­2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st  March, 2000) and as amended from time to time, the following amendment  may be made in the Public Notice No. 56 ( RE­2000)/1997­2002 dated 16.2.2001:­   The following agency may be added after (e) of the above Public Notice for allocation of wheat for export:­   The Punjab State Co­operative Supply & Marketing Federation Limited                  ( MARKFED),  Chandigarh.                     3.             The above agency will be allowed to export wheat on the same terms and conditions as permitted to STC, MMTC, PEC, NCCF and NAFED but within the overall ceilings of 20 Lacs MTs of wheat released for exports vide Public Notice No. 48,  dated 15.12.2000.        This issues in Public interest.                                                                                                                ( N.L. LAKHANPAL ) Director General of Foreign Trade   Copy to all concerned; By orders etc.  ( A. K. SRIVASTAVA )  Dy. Director General of Foreign Trade For Director General of Foreign Trade
