Specification of quantitative ceiling on export of Coarse grains for Licensing Year 2000-2001.

( TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART I SECTION I )   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE & INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 61 ( RE­2000 ) / 1997­2002 NEW DELHI , THE 13th   March, 2001.                   Attention is invited to the entry at Code No. 1001(b)  in  Table B of Schedule 2     and SL. No. 12(ii)  of Appendix –I to Schedule 2 in the  book titled  “ ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import  Items, 1997­2002 ” (incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998) and  as amended from time to time  specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.   In exercise of the powers conferred under Para 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997­2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31st  March, 2000) and  as amended from time to time,  the Director General of Foreign Trade further specifies the quantitative ceiling on export of Coarse grains  for  the licensing year 2000­2001  as under:­       A further quantity of 50,000MTs ( Fifty thousand MTs ) of Coarse grains  viz. “Grain and flour of Barley, Maize, Bajra, Ragi and Jowar (excluding  Hybrid Jowar grown as Kharif crop)”  is permitted to be exported. This quantity is placed  at the disposal  of APEDA for issue of   Registration­cum­Allocation Certificate (  RCACs ) to the following agencies  as indicated against each :­    (a)          STC                                              :         10,000 MTs  (b)          STCL, Bangalore       :                         10,000 MTs  (c)          APEDA for exporters       :                  30,000 MTs   The last date of shipment/export for the above shall be 30.4.2001.     3.             This issues in Public interest.                                                                                                               ( N.L. LAKHANPAL ) Director General of Foreign Trade   Copy to all concerned; By orders etc.  ( A. K. SRIVASTAVA )  Dy. Director General of Foreign Trade For Director General of Foreign Trade
