Amendment in Public Notice 48 dt. 15.12.2000

( TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART I SECTION I)   Government of India Ministry of Commerce & Industry Department of Commerce   Public Notice No.  56       (RE­2000)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI,   Dated  the      16th      February,2001.                   Attention is invited to the entry at Code No.1001 of Schedule 2 Table B and S.No.12 of Appendix­1 to Schedule 2 in the book titled “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 1997­2002” specifying the terms and conditions for export of items indicated therein.                   In exercise of the powers conferred under para 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002, the following amendments may be made in the Public Notice No.48 (RE­ 2000)/1997­2002 dated 15th December,2000 :­                   In Para 2(i) of the above Public Notice the following agencies may be added after (c) for allocation of wheat for export :­          ( d )        National Cooperative Consumers’ Federation of India Ltd.(NCCF) National Agricultural  Cooperative Marketing Federation of India Ltd., (NAFED)   NCCF will be allowed  50,000 M.T.  and NAFED 1.00 lakh M.T.’s of wheat for export within the overall ceiling  of 20 lakh M.T. of wheat released  for export vide the above Public Notice No.48 dated 15th December,2000.     The other conditions  of Public Notice No. 48 dated 15.12.2000 will be applicable equally in respect of exports by these agencies also.               This issues in Public interest.     (N.L.LAKHANPAL) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE     Copy to all concerned; By Order etc.   (A.K.Srivastava) Dy.Director General of Foreign Trade
