Amendment in Public Notice No. 3 dated 31.3.2000

TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO.   18(RE­2000)   /1997­2002 NEW DELHI:   30th  June, 2000               In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment to the Public Notice No. 3(RE­2000)/97­2002 dated 31.03.2000, namely:   “Para 2(g) of the above mentioned Public Notice shall be amended to read as under :   2(g)      Charitable/ Missionary/Religious Institutions registered as per the law relating to the registration of the societies or trusts or otherwise approved by the Central or State Government, subject to the condition that  the importer is an established institution and is functioning for the common benefit of the community, and subject further to production of necessary clearance under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation ) Act, 1976.”                                          Sd/­                                                               (N.L. LAKHANPAL) DIRECTOR GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE   Copy to all concerned, By order  etc.   (O.P.Hisaria) Dy. Director General of Foreign Trade
