(TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART­1­SECTION­1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE PUBLIC NOTICE NO.23(RE­99)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI : DATED 9th JULY, 1999 Attention is invited to Paragraph 7.8 of the Export and Import Policy 1997­2002, as amended and Paragraphs 7.8 and 7.10 of the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.1, 1997­2002, as amended and also to the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997­2002, as amended from time to time. 2. In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy 1997­2002, as amended, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendments/modifications and additions in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997­2002, as amended. 3. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms as contained in the Handbook of Procedures, Vol.2, 1997­2002, as amended, amendments/ corrections at appropriate places as mentioned in Annexure "A" to this Public Notice shall be made. 4. In the statement of Standard Input Output Norms, following additions shall be made at appropriate places as mentioned below:­

CHEMICALS AND ALLIED PRODUCTS After the existing entry at Sl.No.A­2218, the new entries from Sl.No.A­2219 to A­2250 shall be added as per Annexure "B" to this Public Notice. ENGINEERING PRODUCTS After the existing entry at Sl.No.C­1408, the new entries from Sl.No.C­1409 to C­1426 shall be added as per Annexure "C" to this Public Notice.               PLASTIC PRODUCTS After the existing entry at Sl.No.H­406, the new entries from Sl.No.H­407 to H­413 shall be added as per Annexure "D" to this Public Notice.
