Amendment in Paragraph (2) of Public Notice No.274 dated 23.2.1995

ADVANCE COPY/ TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART­I, SECTION­1) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 22(RE­99)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI:8th July, 1999   In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part­II­Section 3 – Sub­section (ii) vide S.O. No. 83(E) dated 31.3.1997, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby amends paragraph (2) of Public Notice No. 274(PN)/92­97 dated 23­02­95 namely­ The following Explanation shall be added after paragraph 4 thereof: "Explanation. For purpose of this Public Notice, this expression "aircraft and helicopters" appearing therein shall be deemed to include used/second­ hand aircraft and helicopters."
