Subject: Onetime extension in Export Obligation for bona fide default
in respect of old Advance Licenses Attention is invited to Public Notice No. 7 (RE98) 19972002 dated 24.04.1998 and Public Notice No. 44 (RE98) 19972002 dated 28.09.1998 wherein one time extension up to 31.03.1999 in export obligation period for Quantity Based Advance Licenses was provided in respect of Advance Licenses under the Duty Exemption Scheme issued up to 31.03.1996, subject to the terms and conditions indicated therein. 2. In exercise of the powers under Paragraph 4.11 of Export and Import Policy, 19972002, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the following amendment in the Public Notice No. 7 (RE98) 19972002 dated 24.4.1998: Paragraph 3 of the Public Notice No. 7 (RE98) 19972002 dt 24.4.1998 shall be amended to read as under: This Public Notice shall be applicable in respect of AdvanceLicenses under the Duty Exemption Scheme issued up to 30.09.1996 3. This issues in Public interest.
