Amendments in Schedule 2 Appendix 1 of ITC (HS) Classifications for Export & Import items 1997-2002

(TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY PART I SECTION I )   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 39 (RE)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI, DATED THE 15th September, 1998.   In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph 4.11 of the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Director General of Foreidgn Trade hereby makes the following amendments in Schedule 2 Appendix 1 of the Book Titled, " ITC(HS) Classification of Export & Import Items 1997-2002."   2. The description of the item as at Sl. No. 38 incorporated vide Public Notice No. 36(RE)/1997-2002 dated 2nd September, 1998 shall be amended to read as under:-   38. Mulberry Silk Waste Exports allowed only Not Carded or Combed against a valid

registration certificate issued in this regard by the Member Secretary, Central Silk Board or his authorised representatives.   3.
