/ADVANCE COPY/   TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY (PART-I, SECTION-1)   GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE   PUBLIC NOTICE NO. 20 (RE­98)/1997­2002 NEW DELHI: 26.6.98   In exercise of powers conferred under paragraph 4.11 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997­2002, as notified in the Gazette of India extraordinary, Part­II­ Section 3 – Sub­ section (ii) vide S.O No. 283(E) dated 31.3.97, the Director General of Foreign Trade hereby makes the amendment with regard to the validity of the following licenses.   In the wake of damage caused by natural calamity in coastal Gujarat region, Advance licences issued with port of registration at Kandla and expiring between the date of notification of this Public Notice and 30th Sept, 98 shall be deemed to have been valid upto 30th Sept, 98.   Post export DEPB issued with port of registration at Kandla and expiring between the date of notification of this Public Notice and 30th Sept, 98 shall be deemed to have been valid upto 30th Sept, 98.
