Subject: Amendment in Import Policy Condition No.07 (i) of Chapter - 27 of Schedule-I

(Import Policy) of ITC (HS), 2022 reg.

S.O. (E):): In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 and Section 9 of the Foreign Trade

(Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023 (as amended from time to time), the Central Government hereby amends the Import Policy Condition No.07 (i) of Chapter - 27 of Schedule-I (Import Policy) of ITC (HS), 2022 notified vide Notification No. 34/2023 dated 04.10.2023, with immediate effect, as under: Existing Policy Condition Revised Policy Condition he Coal Import Monitoring System (CIMS)The Coal Import Monitoring System (CIMS) shall require importers to submit advancelshall require importers to submit advance information in an online system for import ofjinformation in an online system for import items and obtain an Automatic Registrationlof items and obtain an Automatic umber by paying registration fee of Rs. 1 perRegistration Number by paying registration housand, subject to minimum of Rs. 500/- andifee as per Appendix 2K maximum of Rs. | Lakh, on CIF value. Effect of the Notification: The Registration Fee for obtaining Automatic Registration Number under Coal Import Monitoring System (CIMS) will be subject to the scale of fee mentioned in Appendix 2K. This issues with the approval of Minister of Commerce & Industry.
