        S.O.(E)  In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of  the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation)

Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2004-2009, as amended, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the “ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items 2004-2009” : -

2. The words “ (including Shell or Nut Charcoal)” mentioned against Sl. No. 145 (H.S. Code No. 4402 00 10) of
   

Chapter 44 under Heading “ Wood and Articles of Wood; Wood Charcoal” in Schedule – 2, Export Policy stand deleted.

3.     This issues in public interest.
