NOTIFICATION NO. 23(RE-2003)/ 2002-2007 NEW DELHI DATED THE 19th NOVEMBER, 2003

S.O. (E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.1, 2.1 and 2.4 of the Export and Import Policy, 2002-2007, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the ITC(HS) Classification of Export and Import Items, 2002-2007 as amended vide Notification No.3 (RE-2003)/2002-2007 dated 31st March, 2003 .

2.         Against item code number 2901 under heading “Organic Chemicals” in Table B of Schedule 2 of ITC(HS) , the following  new entry shall be
   

added after 2901 (i ) :-

Code Item Description Policy Nature of Restriction 2901 Anthranilic Acid Free (b) No Objection Certificate from Narcotics Commissioner of India, Gwalior in respect of item (a), (g), (h), (i ) and (j) in Col. (2).
