Notification No. 22 (RE-2000)/1997-2000 New Delhi,dated the 03rd July, 2000

    In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of

1992. read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, (incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import items, 97-2002 published on 31st march, 1997-(RE-98) as amended from time to time.

      In entry at ITC(HS) Code No. 0703(1) of Schedule-2, Table-B relating to export of Onion (All varieties other than Bangalore rose onions and Krishnapuram Rose onions), the last date of shipment mentioned in paragraph (iv) of Notification No. 11 (RE- 2000)/1997-2002 dated 26th April, 2000 read with Notification No. 16(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated the 17th May, 2000 and Notification No. 17(RE-2000)/97-2002 dated 26.5.2000 shall be amended as under:-

‘However in respect of NOCs issued in the month of May, 2000, shipment of exports can take place till 31st July, 2000.’
