In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act,1992 (No.22 of 1992) read with paragraph 1.3 of the Export and Import Policy,1997-2002, ( incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000) ,the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002" ( incorporating amendments made upto 31.3.2000 ). The following amendment shall be made in the entry at ITC(HS) Code No. 0703 in ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Imports items, 1997-2002, ( incorporating amendments made upto 31st August, 1998 ) at Schedule-2, Table-B in continuation to the Notification No. 46(RE-99)/1997-2002, dated 9th February, 2000. The following shall be added at the end of Paragraph (iv) of Notification No. 11(RE-2000)/1997-2000 dated 26th April, 2000 read with Notification No. 16(RE-2000)/1997-2002 dated 17th May, 2000. ‘ However in respect of NOCs issued in the month of May 2000, Shipment of exports can take place till 7th June, 2000.’
