S.O (E) : In exercise of the powers conferred by the Section

5 of the Foreign Trade ( Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 ( No.22 of 1992) read with Paragraph 1.3 of the Export & Import Policy 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the Export & Import Policy, 1997-2002.

2. In Chapter 16, Part II, Paragraph 16.2 - Restricted items (Exports Permitted under licence), the words "Basmati Paddy Seeds " shall be included after the words Paddy Seeds (Wild varity) in the entry at Sl.No.19.
