Decision: The Committee considered the request of firm for accepting the same norms in this case also which were fixed earlier by NC — 7 in its Meeting No. 50/AM11 held on 16.03.2011 against Advance Authorization No. 0410121314 dated 03.02.2011 (Case No. 1/50/87-ALC1/2010). Technical Representative of DIPP informed that the norms earlier fixed were on higher side and hence the same are not acceptable in this case. He further informed that the norms should be fixed as per SION A-1706. kee oe .

Hence, the Committee as per Technical comments furnished by DIPP vide letter No. 7/140/2014-TSW dated 30.06.2014 decided to revise the norms as under:

Besides this there is no other change in the decision taken in earlier NC Meeting No. 51/AM14 held on 20.03.2014 (Case No. A-275).

Request: Allowing quantity of Import Item UV Stabilizer Master Batch as per SION H-97

Decision: The issue was considered in detail. Technical Representative of D/o C&PC clarified that in respect of Import Item No. 4 - “UV Stabilizer Master Batch (containing not more than 20% UV Stabilizer) where Export Product contains U.V. Stabilizer” the quantity earlier given by NC was “2% of the Resin content in export product”. This quantity may be amended to read as \ “2% of the Polypropylene Resin content in export product”, SION H-97 of the Plastic Product Group at that time had also mentioned the import quantity in respect of this product as \ “2% of the basic Polypropylene Resin content”. } ofaly Accordingly, the Committee decided to revise the description of{Import Item No. 4 “UV Stabilizer Master Batch (containing not more than 20% UV Stabilizer) where Export Product contains U.V. Stabilizer” to read as “2% of the Polypropylene Resin content in export product”.
