Attention of all the SEZ Exporters, JNPT Port Terminals, other Stakeholders, and officers of Nhava Sheva is invited to Public Notice No. 76/2018 dated 10.05.2018 issued by the Commissioner of Customs (NSGen), JNCH regarding, “Implementation of export Transhipment (ETP) Module for movement of Export cargo from JNPT Port to Gateway Port in ICES”

As per para 8 of the aforementioned Public Notice, “as soon as the cargo reaches the desired Gateway Port through ETP, the officer posted at that Gateway Port after completion of the preventive checks including verification of Marks and No’s of the container and integrity of the seals to rule out tampering, if any, as the case may be, shall let "Allowed for Shipment" entry in the ICES by verifying the particulars from the approved ETP.” In case of tampering of seals or discrepancies noticed, the same shall be informed to the Superintendent of Boarding, immediately. 3.

In line with above procedure to be followed at GATEWAY Ports for ETP cargo originating from JNCH, all Gate Preventive Officers posted at Port Terminal Gates (JNPT, NSICT/NSIGT, BMCT and GTI) are, hereby, directed to check all Export bound Full Container Load (FCL) covered under ETP mode originating from SEZs & complete all preventive checks to ensure that such ETP Cargo are allowed to enter the Port Terminals for loading on to the designated foreign going Vessel. 4. After completion of all preventive checks, the Gate Preventive Officer shall manually endorse as "Allowed for Shipment" on the ETP Copy & Gatepass Copy of SEZ, till ICES system is installed at the cabin of Gate Preventive Officers at Port Gates (JNPT, NSICT/NSIGT, BMCT and GTI), and retain a copy of such permission granted. In case of tampering of seal(s) or discrepancy noticed, the same shall be informed to the Superintendent of Boarding, immediately, for further necessary action.
