Subject- Option to allow amendment during final assessment of

bill of entry for bulk cargo -reg. Attention of all the Importers, Exporters, General Trade, Other stakeholders, and Officers of Nhava Sheva is invited to Directorate General of Systems and Data Management Advisory No: 09/2025 dated 31.01.2025. 2. References have been received with regard to final assessment of bulk & liquid bulk cargo that there is no provision to change invoice value and quantity in the EDI system as per final invoice & final analysis certificate. In this regard, necessary changes have been made in the System to allow amendment during finalization of bill of entry for bulk and liquid bulk cargo. 3. Amendment of unit price is already enabled in the system during the process of finalization of bill of entry. Now, in the updated module, the officer will be able to amend the quantity, invoice number, freight and miscellaneous charges during the final assessment of bill of entry for bulk & liquid bulk cargo only. Based on the amended unit price and amended quantity, the system will calculate new assessable/ invoice value. All Officers to consider this as Standing Order.
