Meeting No. 33/87-NC-7/2011 of NORMS COMMITTEE (NC-7) dealing with ‘Plastic & Rubber Products’ scheduled to be held on 16.11.2011 under the Chairmanship of Dr. L.B. Singhal, Jt. DGFT, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi- 110011. Following officers attended the Meeting:

  1.     Committee confirmed Minutes of NC Meeting No. 32/AM12 held on 11.11.2011.

  2.     Committee, after deliberations, approved following cases and RLA concerned shall take consequential action as per

Foreign Trade Policy/Procedures.

MANUAL CASES

Case No. A-159

GUJARAT FLUORO CHEMICALS LTD. Status: Approved NC No.: 33/AM12 Dated: 16.11.2011 HQ F. No. 01/87/162/00025/AM12/DES-VII

Request: Fixation of new Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) for the Export Product ‘Polytetrafluoroethylene / PTFE / Poly Tetra Fluoro Ethylene / Granular PTFE’.

Decision: The Committee considered the request of firm and on the basis of written comments of D/o C&PC vide OM No. 46011/01/2008-PC-II dated 15.11.2011 decided to approve the case for fixation of new Standard Input-Output Norms (SION) as under:

EVERSHINE RUBBER PVT. LTD. HQ F. No. 01/87/162/00165/AM12/DES-VII Status: Rejected NC No.: 33/AM12 Dated: 16.11.2011 Adv. Lic. No. 1210007553 dated 24.03.2011 RLA F. No. 12/21/076/00017/AM11

Request: Issuance of clarification regarding description of export product mentioned at SION A- 1709.

Decision: The Committee noted that the firm is manufacturing and exporting “Low Pressure Rubber Tubing”, while the description of export production as per SION A-1709 is “Rubber Hoses of different dimensions having net content of Rubber not more

  1.     Technical Representative of DIPP stated that the export product of firm cannot be accepted under SION A-1709 as the

description is not matching and these are two different products.
