HQ F. No. 01/83/162/01253AM09/DES­VII   Status:  Approved   NC No.: 26/AM10 Dated:23.09.2009   Application:    Request is for enhancement of Value Cap for the export product                 “1)  Vee/Fan Belts Reinforced with man made textile cord  and  2)  Vee Belts with Kelvar – regarding M/s Pix Transmission Ltd., Mumbai.   Decision:        The request of M/s Pix Transmission Ltd., Mumbai for enhancement of value cap for the export product ‘Vee/Fan Belts Reinforced with Man made Textile Cord/Vee Belts with Kevlar” was examined in Norms Committee.   On the basis of  data furnished by the firm alongwith relevant shipping bills from July, 2008 to June, 2009.  The Committee observed that the FOB value in case of Vee Belts with Kevlar ranges from Rs. 450.40 per kg to Rs. 548.58 per kg and in case

of Vee/Fan Belts Reinforced with man made textile cord ranges from Rs. 225.15 per kg to Rs. 271.46 per kg .    The Committee, therefore, recommended enhancement of value cap from Rs. 180 per kg to Rs. 450 per kg for export product Vee Belts with Kelvar and for export product Vee/Fan Belts Reinforced with man made textile cord from Rs. 180 per kg to Rs. 224 per kg.                           The Committee also decided to refer the case to DEPB Committee for further consideration.        ONLINE CASES     3
