Subject: General Election to the Legislative Assemblies of Maharashtra, 2024, observance of non-working day on 20.11.2024-regarding.

Consequent to OM vide F. No. 12/1/2022-JCA dated 07.11.2024, issued by Department of Personnel and Training the Government of India, and in view of the General Legislative Assembly Election in Maharashtra scheduled to be held on 20th November 2024 (Wednesday), it is hereby informed that 20th November 2024 will be observed as a non-working day for all concerned staffs under the jurisdiction of Zone-H], Mumbai Customs.

This non-working day is declared to enable smooth conduct of the elections and to ensure that all eligible employees have the opportunity to participate in the electoral process.

This issues with the approval of Commissioner of Customs (NS-G).
