The Norms Committee has taken decision only with respect to technical aspect/wastage norms. While redeeming the applications, RAs should check that the applicant has fulfilled all requirements as prescribed in policy/procedure including those in Policy Circulars issued from time to time or any other provisions under FTP/HBP for EODC. Butter Decision: Vide PN No. 07/2024 dated 29.05.2024 SION E-125 was modified for export of “Shea Stearine” against import of “Shea nuts”. After this, applications in ANF 4B were also received from firms to allow the export of “Shea Stearine” against the import of “Shea butter” in SION E- 125. Data received from the major exporters of Shea Stearine regarding production/ consumption, wastage and by-products generated at each stage of the manufacturing process were forwarded to MoFPI for technical comments and consideration. MoFPI vide its OM No. E-14011/17/2019-ED dated 01.10.2024 has furnished their comments and requested to modify SION E-125 after deducting the DTA sale value of the by-products and to review these IO norms in every 3-5 years. Based on the requests of the firms to explain their production process, a PH was also held on 17.10.2024. M/s Manorama Industries and M/s 3F Industries, who are the two major exporters of this item attended the PH and explained their manufacturing process and wastages at various states of manufacturing.
