Subject: Trade Facilitation Measures and Office Operations on 15/11/2024 at JNCH in pursuance to Advisory No. 28/2024 issued by the NCTC regarding Upgradation of NCTC Software-reg.

To facilitate smooth operations at the docks/assessment groups and support trade activities, in accordance with Advisory No. 28/2024 issued by the NCTC, it is hereby notified that the office will remain open on 15th November 2024. The Examination and Assessment Groups/Sections will be functional on both the import and export sides.

1. The Examination and Assessment Sections will be operational for both import and export activities on 15th November 2024.

2. The examination of Goods will be carried out at follows:

2.1 No examination shall be done for T2 and T3 IEC holders for both import and export activities.

2.2 Export examination is not required for entities classified as 5-star Export Houses.

3. The respective Commissionerates shall ensure adequate staff deployment in relevant assessment groups and docks under theirjurisdiction to facilitate the smooth conduct of operations.

4. All concerned stakeholders/staffs are requested to take note of the above advisory and act accordingly to ensure seamless trade facilitation on 15th November 2024.

5. This notice is issued for information and necessary action by all concerned
