S.K.Samal. Jt. DGFT. Following members were present in the meeting. The minutes of the minutes No 18/14 dated 28.11.2013 and minutes no 19/14 dated 12.12.2013 sent by e mail to all members of the committee were ratified by the members. Agenda for individual cases was taken up for discussion. Decision taken in each case is enumerated below. Adhoc norms fixed in this meeting are valid for a period of 2 years reckoned from the date of ratification as per para4.7.1(b) of Hand book of procedure (vol1) 200914 updated as on 5.6.2012. 1 746 Party Name:KLF NIRMAL INDUSTRIES (P) LTD Meet No/Date:20/85ALC3/2013 26.12.2013 Status: Approved HQ File :01/85/171/042/AM14 Fixation of adhoc norms in terms of para 4.4.2 of HBP, Vol.I for export of Sesame Oil against import of Sesame Seed. The Committee noted the comments furnished by Directorate of Vanaspati, Vegetable Oils and Fats vide their O.M No. 4 (10)/ 2007 –Exp. Dated 25.10.2013 , wherein import of 100 MT of sesame seed was allowed for export of 44.22 MT sesame Oil. The comments also states that in this manufacturing process there will be a recovery of 49.868 MT of sesame oil cake as bye product . The Committee noted that the commercial value of bye product comes to Rs 13,46,436/ ( @ Rs.27000/ Per MT) as submitted by the applicant vide their letter dated 19.12.2013. Going by the per MT CIF Value of import item . Rs. 13,46,436/ is the value of 15.22 MT of import item. According to the value of recoverable wastage of sesame Oil Cake , the import entitlement of the applicant works out to 84.78 MT .
