The case was discussed in the meeting and Committee noted that the firm vide their letter dated 25.05.2013 has stated that (i) Different grades of Oils mentioned in the flow chart denotes different grades of essential oil of Mustard only. (ii) The waste materials after the process is dried and used as fuel for the boiler and this waste does not have any value. It was also noted that the firm is giving a higher yield of 0.6% which is higher than the yield range of 0.25% to 0.5%of essential oil of mustard as per information furnished by the Spices Board vide their letter No MKTAA/003/2012/5026/2066 dated 13.3.2013 Hence, Committee decided to approve the norms with 0.6% yield as under Export Item Qty.
