6 dated 29.5.2012 followed by reminder 7.8.2012  has not been received. It was decided to call for the following information from the firm   in addition  to  previous information  called for by MFPI by 15.9.2012 failing which  the case will be rejected.   1. Labels of the all varieties of the product  to ascertain the  ingredients used in manufactured product.   The committee decided to defer the case for four weeks  and  place before the committee on 27.9.2012                           261

10 264 Party Name:EMPIRE TOBACCO CO.PVT.LTD 30.08.2012 Status: HQ File :01/85/050/0013/AM12/ RLA File :03/94/040/00113/AM12/ Lic.No/Date:0310629706 05.05.2011    The committee discussed the case  and it was noted that the applicant firm has submitted a representation   against ad­hoc norms already fixed by the committee   pointing out an error in export quantity. It was decided to bring the matter to the notice of DIPP, which is the Technical Authority  in the matter,  seeking his comments. A copy of firms representation may be enclosed with the letter to DIPP. The committee decided to place the case before  committee after four weeks  i,e 27.9.2012     11 265

Party Name:JEWEL CONSUMER CARE P LTD 30.08.2012 Status: HQ File :01/85/050/00038/AM13/ RLA File :34/24/040/00288/AM12/ Lic.No/Date:3410033580 19.03.2012 Deferred The committee discussed the case and noted  the  comments furnished by the C&PC  vide their  letter No 46011/68/2009­PC­II dated 23.7.2012  Import item No.2 i.e.    Relevant twisted wire brush,  recommended by C&PC,  appears to be the tooth brush as a whole  including  Head, Handle & Bristle,  in which case other items recommended for imports may not be necessary. It was decided to request to  C&PC  to clarify the matter  to facilitate  a proper understanding  of  their  recommendation by the committee   before the ad­hoc norms are ratified.     The  committee  deferred  the  case  and  desired  to  call  the  firm  for  P.H  in  regard  to  import  item  in  relation  to  export  item  along  with  samples  for demonstration.     12 266

Party Name:ENGLISH INDIAN CLAYS LIMITED 30.08.2012 Status: HQ File :01/85/050/00060/AM13/ RLA File :53/24/040/00002/AM13/ Lic.No/Date:5310015100 22.05.2012 Deferred  The committee discussed the case  and it was noted that the  description of the export product  in the Authorisation  is at variance with the  same in the comments    furnished  by  the  MSME  in  their  U.O  No.    25/1/SION/G&C/2010­11  dated  8.8.2012  .  The  word  “whither”  is    mentioned  in  the  Advance Authorisation  while the same is mentioned  as ”Whether “ in MSME comments. Committee decided to get a  clarification   in this regard  from MSME The committee decided to defer the case   and  place before the committee on receipt of reply from MSME.
