DIRECTORATE GENERAL OF FOREIGN TRADE DES­VI (FOOD & MISC)   Minutes of the meeting No. 05/13  of NC­VI held on   17.05.2012.               Meeting No. 05/13  for the licensing year 2012­13 to consider cases under Duty Exemption Schemes (Chapter­4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2009­14 pertaining to Misc. & Food Products   was held on 17.05.2012 under the Chairmanship of Ms. Shubhra, Jt. DGFT.  Following officers were present in the meeting.        S.N Name of the Officer Designation Department 1 Sh.J.P.Maurya AIA MFPI 2 Sh. A.K.Ojha A.D MSME 3 Sh. C.Gangadharan Dy.DGFT DGFT 4 Sh.S.K.Panigrahi E.O DGFT     The minutes of the earlier  meeting No. 02/13 and 3/13   held on  26.04.2012  were  sent by e­ mail to all members of the committee, were ratified  by the members. Agenda for individual cases was taken up for discussion.  Decision taken in each case is enumerated below.  Ad­hoc norms fixed in this meeting are valid for a period of 12 months as per Public Notice  No.37 dated  23.08.2007.     1 72 Party Name: HIMALAYA INTERNATIONAL LTD Meet No/Date:5/85­ALC3/2012 17.05.2012 Status: HQ File :01/85/162/628/AM08 RLA File :05/24/40/00353/AM08 Lic.No/Date:0510207305 07.08.2007 Rejected  Fixation of adhoc norms under para 4.7 of HBP, Vol.I   The case was considered by the committee as per agenda.The committee noted that the case was decided by the  Norms committee in its meeting held on 29.11.2007. The committee  could not establish  correlation between the input items appearing at  Sl.no 3,4,5,6&7 and the  export  product.  Supplemented  /  Non­Supplemented    mushrooms    and  Appetizer/Sweets.  The  committee  after  discussion  with  technical members present in the meeting decided to reject the case on following ground   1. The request made by the firm for review of the decision is time barred under the FTP and no cogent reason has been given by the firm for the delay of  over four years.
