In partial modification of the work allocation among the Commissionerates of Mumbai Customs Zone-II, as described in Public Notice No. 91/2018 dated 30.05.2018 and other Public Notices issued in this behalf, it has been decided that the entire work of Compliance Management shall be handled by NS-IV Commissionerate, which presently is handling the work of Audit for the entire Zone. This change is being made to align the Compliance Management functions of the Zone with the approach adopted by the Board since March 2022. 2. Accordingly, to begin with, the Sections, namely SIIB (Import), Local Risk Management (LRM), IPR Cell and Environment Protection Unit (EPU) shall stand transferred to NS-IV Commissionerate w.e.f. 01.03.2024. Consequently, the entire set of officers up to the rank of Additional Commissioner who are handling the said work will stand transferred to NS-IV Commissionerate w.e.f.
