JNPA, consisting of unloading platform of size 108m x 50m, mooring dolphins 04 Nos. & pump house 49m x 20m located at Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Village Nhava Sheva, Taluka Uran, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra has been notified as Customs Area for unloading of Liquid Cargo. ii. Date:-2202.2024 2 Now, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 45(1) and 141(2) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, D. S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Mumbai Zone-II, Nhava Sheva hereby appoint M/s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority to be the Custodian of the imported Liquid Cargo unloaded at the additional Liquid Berth LB03/04. Further, in exercise of the powers conferred on me under Regulation 10 of the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009" I, D. S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Mumbai Zone-lI, hereby appoint M/s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority as a "Customs Cargo Service Provider" for the above-mentioned Liquid Cargo Jety LB03/04 subject to the following conditions: - M/s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority approved as Customs Cargo Service Provider for the said Port Terminal shall abide by all the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, the rules under the "Handling of Cargo in Customs Areas Regulations, 2009", and other regulations, notifications, orders issued there under. ii The duration of the appointment of M/s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority as "Custodian" and "Customs Cargo Service Provider" shall remain for five (05) years from the date of issuance of this Public Notice.
