Please Note For information of exporters, Norms Committee - IV handles all cases pertaining to fixation/ratification of norms for Export Products falling under ITC (HS) Chapter 27, 28, 31 to 38, 44 to 49, 68 to 71 .Communications in respect of cases/pertaining to NC- IV may be sent to email address:
nc4.dgft@nic.in I. The Norms Committee has taken decision only with respect to technical aspect/wastage norms. While redeeming the applications, RAs should check that the applicant has fulfilled all requirements as prescribed in policy/procedure including those in Policy Circulars issued from time to time or any other provisions under FTP/HBP for EODC. II. Wherever the Committee has fixed Norms, the concerned RA may ensure that AA is issued on the wastages/consumption as ratified by the Committee or as per wastages claimed in the application, whichever is less. III. Meeting No. NC/4/MEET/Feb/202223/19 dated 14/03/2023 of Norms Committee - IV for the year 2022-23 was held on 14/03/2023 under the Chairmanship of HARDEEP SINGH,Additional DGFT to consider the following applications for ratification of norms in respect of advance authorizations under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter-4) of Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. Meter of Decorative Laminates proposed to be exported. C= Either the Standard Thickness of 1.00 MM or the Standard Wt. of 1.45 KG/Sq. Meter of 1.00 MM Thickness. 3. The quantity of BOPP film given above will be for one sq. meter of Decorative Laminates irrespective of thickness and weight of Decorative Laminates to be exported. 4. The quantity of all the other items unchanged irrespective of change of thickness and weight of decorative laminates to be exported. 5. It is clarified that the above formula is applicable only in case of Decorative Laminates having thickness of 4 mm.
