Public Notice No. 87 of 2023-24

M/s Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority vide letter dated 06.06.2023 applied for notification of Additional Liquid Cargo Jetty duly constructed by them which is extension to the existing BPCL Jetty with a capacity of 4.5 MTPA to handle the liquid vessels. The Berth consists of unloading platform of size 108m x 50m, mooring dolphins 4 nos and pump house 49m x 20m.

2. In exercise of the powers conferred on me under Section 8(a) of the Customs Act, 1962, I, D.S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, hereby notify the Additional Liquid Cargo Jetty of M/s JNPA located at Jawaharlal Nehru Port, Village NhavaSheva, Taluka Uran, Dist. Raigad, Maharashtra as a place for unloading of Liquid Cargo subject to the strict observance of the provisions of the Customs Act, 1962, Rules/Regulations issued thereunder and also other instructions issued in this behalf by the Government of India, Central Board of[Indirect][Taxes] & Customs (CBIC) or Commissioner of Customs (NS-General), Jawaharlal Nehru Customs House, from time to time. The Additional Liquid Cargo Jetty is extension to existing BPCL Jetty with a capacity of 4.5 MTPA to handle the liquid vessels. The berth consists of unloading platform of size 108m x 50m, mooring dolphins 4 no.s and pump house 49m x 20m,

3. Further, under Section 10 of the Customs At, 1962, I, D.S. Garbyal, Commissioner of Customs (General), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva hereby specify the area described in Schedule-I below as the ‘Boarding Station’ for purpose of boarding of or disembarkation from vessels by officers of Customs.

4. Further under Section 8(b) of the Customs Act, 1962, 1, D.S.
