The Committee considered the case as per agenda. The representation dated 24.8.2013 of the firm, and based on the deliberations and clarifications offered by the Technical Authority vide their U.O.No.14010/8/2009-Ch.II dated 10.1.2014, Committee decided to amend the description of the export item, in the minutes of NC Meeting No.38/83 dated 16.12.2009, as under:-

From To Mangesium Dichloride Supported Titanium Catlayst Containing Catalyst Content: 39.4% min. Mineral oil Content: 60% Catalytic Preparation viz., Magnesium Dichloride Supported Titanium Catalyst Containing Catalyst content: 39.4% min. Mineral Oil Content: 60%

The firm exported 45.737249 MT of export item before ratification of norms by Norms Committee. NC had ratified the norms subsequently with changed description.

Hence, amendment is made on request of firm only for regularization purpose. No further export and import is allowed against this AA.

The Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that initially in the meeting 11/83 dated 10.6.2009 firm was not allowed import item No.1 i.e. White Pet Jelly. But later on it was also observed that written comments in the matter have been received from DIPP vide their U.O.No.7/100/2013-TSW dated 24.1.2014 wherein they have mentioned that in the past also Norms Committee approved the same nomenclature for cosmetic products as both the nomenclature are the same for the product. Accordingly based on approved formula from Drug Authority, their entitlement of White Pet Jelly comes to 5.5445 Kg for export of 1000 Numbers of Pack.

        In the light of written comments of DIPP, Committee decided to allow the quantity of  White Pet Jelly, Import Item No.1 to the extent of   5.5445 Kg   for export of 1000 Numbers of Pack without any other change for the  other import items allowed in the earlier decision taken in M.No.11/83 dated 10.6.2009.

It was also observed that written comments in the matter have been received from DIPP vide their U.O.No.7/100/2013-TSW dated 24.1.2014 wherein they have mentioned that the total requirement of raw materials for 1000 Nos. of pack would be 27.12 Kgs whereas in the earlier approved norms only 0.02712 Kgs was allowed. This appears to be a typographical calculation error and quantity of raw materials was allowed for export of 1 number of tube. The re-calculation has been made based on approved formula from Drug Authority and their entitlement of Bulk OB Foundation Light Nude comes to 27.12 Kg for export of 1000 Numbers.

        In the light of written comments of DIPP, Committee decided to amend  the quantity of  Bulk OB Foundation Light Nude to the extent of   27.12 Kg   for export of 1000 Numbers,  without any other change for the  other import items allowed in the earlier decision taken in M.No.44/83 dated 2.2.2011.
