MEETING NUMBER : 18/82­ALC4/2012 MEETING DATE : 30.08.2012   The Meeting No. 18/82 in the year 2012­13 to consider the cases under Duty Exemption Scheme (Chapter­4) of Foreign Trade Policy, 2009­14 pertaining to products falling in Chapter 29 and 30  was scheduled to be held on 30.8.2012 but was actually  held on 6.9.2012 under the Chairmanship of Addl DGFT, Shri Mukesh Bhatnagar,  in Room No.4, Udyog Bhawan, New Delhi..   Following members were present:­   1.     Shri Jasbir Singh, Consultant, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals 2.     Shri D.N. Mathur, Consultant, Department of  Pharmaceutical 3.     Shri S.K. Aggarwal,    DC(MSME) 4.     Shri R.C. Meena, Dy. Director General of Foreign Trade

However, the request of the firm for fixing of  norms of import items viz. Boric Acid, Methanol and Butyl Acetate was turned down by the Committee in the light of earlier decision taken in meeting no. 16.82 dated 16.8.2012.  The Committee noted that these products were not used in the process.
