Subject: Assessment of Paraffin of TI 27101990

Attention of all concerned is invited to the above subject. Representations have been received from established manufacturers, importers and Mundra Custom Broker’s Association requesting faster clearance of “Paraffin” consignment of TI 27101990, which at present are mandatorily tested under Public Notice No. 04/2025-26 dated 26.06.2025, given ease of doing business coupled with fact that no compliance deviation has ever been noticed in this item in last many years. Therefore to streamline assessment of Paraffin, the following procedure shall be adopted henceforth. 2. Representative sealed samples shall be drawn and forwarded to CRCL for testing in respect of all first-time import consignments of Paraffin. 3.
