Meeting No. 06/80 of the Norms Committee (NC-I) for the licensing year 2020-2021 (originally scheduled for 29.09.2020) held on 01.10.2020 under the Chairmanship of Sh. R.P. Goyal, Additional Director General of Foreign Trade to consider the applications under Duty Exemption/Remission Schemes (Chapter-4) of the applicable Foreign Trade Policy and the Handbook of Procedures. Starting from the specification of the export product, basic calculation as to how of raw material proposed for import has been arrived at, including the net weight of components to be manufactured out of these imported materials, wastages claimed at each stage of manufacturing with complete justification and supported by documentary evidence/drawings etc.

They have stated that they had applied Components on net to net basis. Without this component, unable to process Export resultant product. The Committee reconsidered the case decided to ratify the ad-hoc norms as per recommendation of Consultant (Tech- 1) as under: 1. All the component as applied by the applicant may be allowed as per GN-4 with accountability clause .
