LTd., HQ F.No.01/80/50/00620/AM06/DES­I Lic. No. & Date Meeting No.24/11 RLA No.05/24/040/00381/AM06 0510164401 dt.17.08.2005 Date: 14.09.2010 The representative of the DIPP present in the meeting recommended the case on repeat basis as per norms of Advance Authorization No.0510034725 dated 10.08.2004 & A.A. No.0510147353 dt.31.12.2004  both ratified in Norms Committee Meeting No. 48/07 dated 06.03.2007. The Committee, after deliberating upon the case, decided  to  ratify  the  norms  in  respect  of  the  subject  advance  authorization  on  repeat  basis  as  per  norms  of Advance Authorization  as under:­   1.      Net weight of export product may be specified as 144 Kgs. 2.      Quantity of import item may be allowed as 80 Nos. on net to net basis. However, keeping in view the manufacturing wastage due to sophisticated nature  of the product and actual realization from scrap as per Central Excise certified data, the weight of import of import item may be allowed as 430.6 Kgs inclusive of 199% wastage after taking 5% recovery from scrap.

M/s.    Precihole Machine  Tools Pvt. LTd., HQ F.No.01/80/50/01325/AM09/DES­I Lic. No. & Date Meeting No.24/11 RLA No.03/95/040/00715/AM09 0310495199 dt.12.11.2008 Date: 14.09.2010   As per written comments of DHI communicated vide their U.O.No.3(33)/08­TSW(B)/437 dated 27.08.2010, the committee decided to ratify the norms in respect of the subject advance authorization as under:­   Export Item 4 units of COLLAR high flow 8 EWR of weight 2471.34 kg.   Import Item

4 units round bar of 8.5 inches dia of weight 4335.69 kg.   The firm has submitted calculation of requirement supported by drawing. Wastage claimed is 75% is reasonable as there is lot of machining. With 20% recovery, firm’s entitlement comes to 3955 kg resulting in 3.6 units of round bar (60% wastage). This office recommends for import of 4 number of bars of weight 4335.69 kg as applied for.

Date:14.09.2010 The  case  regarding  ratification  of  norms  in  respect  of  above  authorization  was  considered  by  the  Norms Committee  (NC­I)  in  its  Meeting  No.24/11  held  on  21.09.2010.  As  per  written  comments  of  DIPP communicated vide their U.O. note dt.14.09.2010, the committee decided  to clarify to firm as under:­    “3 Layer Polyethylene Coated ERW Line Pipes” are not covered under SION C­2004 for Engineering Products.   The case may be re­listed on 26.10.2010.
