Import 1. Import item no 1 to 4­ The firm has applied for 252.082 MT. These items are used in the export item no 1 &  2.The  same  was  subsequently  reduced.  The  firm  has  given  the  calculation  of  142.482  MT  (Gross weight)  out  of  which  weight  of  components  is  84.482  MT  resulting  in  wastage  of  68%.  This  Office agrees to wastage of 45% with 1/3rd recovery and recommends for import of 128.3 MT for item no 1 to 4. (amended list at F/X) 2. Item no 5 to 8­ These are components. Item no 5 to 7 may be allowed at 32 numbers each & item no 8 at 16 number as per the firms request under GN­4.
