Ltd., Faridabad   HQ F.No.01/80/50/00200/AM08/DES.I Lic.No. & Date Meeting  No. 09/11  RA.F.No.05/24/040/00224/AM08 0510205265 dt.21.06.2007 Date: 01.06.2010 Decision :  The  Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that the subject Advance Authorization was issued to the firm with the export description as “Vertical Gas Scrubber Code No. 1410 – 00 – 18” on 21.6.2007 and Norms Committee has ratified the norms in its meeting held on 03.02.2009 wherein the length and outer diameter  has  been  suffixed  to  the  description  of    export  product.    The  Committee observed  that  the  total  weight  of  export  products  against  various  Shipping  Bills  of exports pertaining to the subject Advance Authorization, as mentioned by the firm in their  representation  is  357.828  MTs  as  against  357.9  MTs  fixed  by  the  NC.    The Committee after detailed deliberations and keeping in view that the total export weight  is approximately same as fixed by Norms Committee and a considerable time has been taken to decide the case by NC, it was decided to delete the condition of length and outer  diameter  imposed  by  NC  and  the  description  of  export  product  should  be amended to read as “Vertical Gas Scrubber Code No. 1410 – 00 – 18”.    RA may take necessary action as per the above decision.

M/s.  Leo  Prime Comp Pvt. LTd.,   HQ F.No.01/80/162/01028/AM09/DES.I Meeting No. 09/11   Fixation of wastage  norms Date: 01.06.2010 Decision : The  Committee considered the case as per agenda and observed that the Norms Committee  has  fixed  ad­hoc  wastage  norms  for  the  specific  export  product  “  Base  Plate sets,   One set containing 1 big base plate (Part No. 484 – 00992) and One small base plate (Part No. 484 – 00973450)” wherein quantity of input has been allowed @ 2.37 Kg. per Kg. content in the export product.  The Committee was informed that the firm has requested to delete  the  Part  Nos.  mentioned  because  due  to  small  changes  in  design  the  Part  No.  is changed  and  the  description  of  export  product  also  gets  changed.    The  Committee  after detailed  deliberations  decided  to  reject  the  request  of  the  firm  keeping  in  view  that  the wastage on inputs has been calculated based on Part Nos. of the export product.
