of EPCG

bills
The Committee noted that the party has
stated their export product is Basmati Rice
on which neither DGFT nor Customs gives
any incentive nor, therefore, all shipping
bills of Basmati rice are printed as Free
Shipping Bill. The party has requested for
condonation of procedural lapse of non-
mentioning of the EPCG Authorisation
number in the shipping bills due to lack of
knowledge and guidance.
The Committee deliberated upon the case and decided to reject it as “free shipping bills’ are not permitted under EPCG Scheme and the reason given by the party is too generic and devoid of merit.
