Kind attention is invited to the Press Release/Notice dated 22.08.2019 for Customs Broker Examination issued by the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Faridabad. It is hereby notified that the Online written examination under Regulation 6 of the Customs Broker Licensing Regulation (CBLR, 2018) as amended. which is a pre-requisite for grant of Customs Brokers license will be conducted on 06.03.2020 by the NACIN, Faridabad. 2. Applications are invited from Indian citizens to appear in the online written examination for issuance of license to act as a Customs Broker under Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations (CBLR), 2018, as amended.

Complete application is to be submitted in person or by Registered/ Specd Post in Form-A (available in the CBLR, 2018) along with two passport size photos and self-attested documenis on citizenship (Aadhaar/Passport/Voter Card), educational qualification, financial viability, mobile number, e-mail id and other requirements along with the prescribed fee of Rs.500/- (Rupees five hundred only) to the Principal Commissioner of Customs, Custom House, Mundra from 14.10.2019 to 15.11.2019up to 06:00 PM. Applications sent by post, in case received after the last date shall not be entertained. 4. Before submitting the application, applicant should ensure — the completeness of the application. The online written examination will be a Computer Based Exam with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of two and half hours (10:30 hrs to 13:00 hrs) duration. Questions will be bilingual i.e. in English and Hindi. The pattern of the examination will be as follows:

8. Information regarding roll number, admit card and examination venue wil! be made available on the website of CL!C and NACIN websites www.cbic.gov.in and www.nacin.gov.in under the icon/tab <GSTP/CBLR Exam>.A link to download the admit card will also be provided therein. Admit cards shall also be sent by email to eligible applicants 15 days before the date of examination. For convenience of candidates, other necessary details like list of centres, guidelines to the candidates, help desk, e-mail id. etc will also be made available under the said icon/tab. The date and time of written examination shall be 06.03.2020 from 10:30 hrs-13:30 hrs.

9. Successful candidate will be called for oral Examination for which separate communication will be sent. 10. The oral examination will be held during the second quarter of the calendar year 2020. The pass percentage marks for qualifying in the oral examination will be 60%. A dummy question paper for the purpose of awareness of candidates will be made available on the CBIC and NACIN websites www.cbic.gov.in and www.nacin.gov.in under the icon/tab <GSTP/CBLR Exam> from February, 2020.
